Privacy Policy — MoreCalculators App

More Calculators ("we", "us", the "App") is a collection of offline calculators and converters for Android. This policy explains what the App does — and does not do — with your information. It covers the mobile app only; the morecalculators.com website has its own policy.

The short version

1. Information the App does not collect

The App has no user accounts and no login. We do not ask for, and do not collect, your name, email address, phone number, or any profile information, and we do not use Google Sign-In. We do not request access to your location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.

2. Information stored only on your device

To make the App useful, the following are saved locally on your device (in the App's private storage) and are not transmitted to us:

• your calculation history and favourites;
• a local count of how often each calculator is used (to show "recently used" tools);
• your preferences (theme, accent colour, language, animation style);
• a cached record of your subscription status so the App knows you're a subscriber at start-up.

This data never leaves your device except when you choose to export it (the optional Pro "Back up" feature writes a file to a location you pick). You can erase all of it at any time — see Section 8.

3. Subscriptions (Google Play Billing)

Pro is an optional subscription sold through Google Play. If you subscribe:

• Google Play processes your payment. We never see or store your card or payment details.
• Google Play tells the App your subscription status (active or not) so we can unlock Pro features and remove ads. This check happens on-device against Google Play.
• Your purchase is governed by Google Play's own terms and privacy policy.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect and process device-level information such as your advertising ID, IP address, device type, and ad-interaction data, and may use it to show more relevant ads, in line with Google's policies. You can limit ad personalisation and reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads on most Android phones). Subscribing to Pro removes ads entirely. Where required (for example, for users in the EEA/UK), ad-consent choices are handled through Google's consent mechanisms.

5. Anonymous usage analytics (optional, off by default)

The App can send anonymous, aggregate usage events (for example, "a calculator was opened" or "the plans screen was viewed") using Aptabase, a privacy-focused analytics service. This is opt-in: it is off unless you switch on "Share anonymous usage" in the profile screen, and it is only active in builds where analytics are enabled. These events contain no personal information and are not used to identify you. You can turn this off again at any time in the same place.

6. Crash and error reporting (optional)

Where enabled by us in a given release, the App may send crash and error diagnostics to Sentry to help us find and fix bugs. These reports contain technical information about the error and the device state, not the contents of your calculations. When crash reporting is not enabled, nothing is sent off the device.

7. Permissions and internet use

The App works fully offline. It uses the internet only to load ads, complete a Google Play purchase, fetch live currency rates (in the currency converter), and — where enabled/opted-in — send the anonymous analytics or crash reports described above.

8. Data retention and deletion

• On-device data stays until you remove it. You can delete all local data at any time from Profile → Clear Local Data, or by uninstalling the App.
• There is no account to delete, because the App doesn't create one.
• To manage or cancel a subscription, use your Google Play account (Play Store → Payments & subscriptions).
• For ad-related data, use the device advertising-ID controls in Section 4.

9. Children

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
